The project for Scalzo Foods, a prominent dry foods importer and exporter with a manufacturing and distribution centre in Ravenhall, Victoria, presented Akt. Our team was tasked with bridging the gap between Scalzo Foods’ requirements and the market offerings. In response to this challenge, Akt. Project Management undertook a strategic re-evaluation and adjustment of the initially issued market brief. We carefully rewrote the brief and adjusted the facility design to better meet market construction expectations. This strategic move resulted in competitive and aligned submissions from all tenders, leading to a successful Agreement For Lease (AFL) in record time.

Furthermore, major cost savings were achieved prior to securing the AFL. This was accomplished by integrating the manufacturing system design and services infrastructure into the Base Building works. Our team’s ability to foresee and incorporate these integrations early in the process resulted in significant financial efficiencies, demonstrating our commitment to delivering value to our clients.
